My mathematical interests are Algebraic Geometry, Optimization and Statistics. The scope of our research group in TU Braunschweig can be summarized as real and computational algebraic geometry. In general, our group focuses on non-negativity of real polynomials and applications of Real Algebraic Geometry in engineering and science. In particular, I am interested in the theory of Sums of Nonnegative Circuit (SONC) Polynomials and their application to the biochemical reaction networks and algebraic vision theory.

My M.Sc. project was on complex polynomials and hyperbolic geometry. Namely, I have studied the analogous results of Gauss-Lucas Theorem in Hyperbolic Geometry. You can ask for an electronic copy of my M.Sc. work via an e-mail.
